Anyone who is over 40 years old probably remembers the old style classic rotary desk phone. It was a staple item in homes across America for those of us in the baby boom generation. Although you might best remember the classic black phone, there were various colors available. There was also a rotary dial wall phone version in all the popular colors.
Some of these restored rotary phones now sell for up to $300.00 on eBay. Various colors can be purchased including avocado, harvest gold, powder blue, pink, black, red, and white. And don’t forget the Princess version of the phone, which is also very popular.
You can find original versions of these old rotary phones at thrift stores, flea markets, estate sales, garage sales, etc. Many of these phones will not work properly with today’s phone systems and will need to be professionally restored to work properly.
Craiglslist is another source where you can find vintage rotary phones for sale. In fact, if you are selling a phone there is no cost to place the ad at Craigslist.
Vintage items are hot sellers at eBay. If you are in the market for an old rotary dial phone, rotary phone or vintage wall phone take a look at eBay and see what’s for sale! These phones have really become quite collectible.
Be aware that there are new reproductions of these old rotary phones. Be careful that you work only with reputable sellers so that you can be assured of getting a quality, vintage rotary phone for your collectible collection.
